Linda has recently retired following a career in social housing that spanned 40 years. She started her career as a Trainee Housing Manager with Knowsley MBC after graduating from Birmingham University. During her career, she held several senior positions including more recently as Executive Director of Customers and Communities at medium sized housing association in Greater Manchester, with responsibility for developing strategies and services, in partnership with customers.
During the course of her career, she has led teams who deliver repairs, planned maintenance, property improvements, housing management, and customer involvement services.
In addition, she ran her own consultancy business, focusing on helping associations to improve their customer services and training customers to scrutinise their landlords.
Linda is also an experienced Board member, having served on housing association boards in Cheshire, championing customer services and customer influence and involvement.
