Before Christmas our IT team donated a total of 56 refurbished devices to our customers with each customer each receiving a mobile phone and a laptop.
In addition, 50 mobile phones were donated to the Army of Kindness to be given out to those most in need at their Hot Food Kitchen, and a handful of devices have been donated to Creative Support.
Devices were refreshed and restored by our IT team and donated to those who need them most, helping residents get online and supporting digital inclusion in the Rochdale borough.
I just wanted to say a big thankyou to RBH for the kind gesture offering this out to our clients who are not in a position to have a phone or a laptop. This will make such a big difference to the Rochdale borough residents who we support
Previous donations have included twenty devices to Rochdale Borough Council and some to residents of Kirkholt.
As our device refresh continues further devices will be reset and restored to be handed out to those most in need.
