We're excited to announce a special initiative to help bridge the digital divide in our communities this Christmas.
Our IT team have been busy refreshing devices for colleagues, and we now have a number of second-hand laptops and smartphones which have been reset and restored. We are donating these devices to those in our community who need them the most.
If you think you could benefit from this scheme, or you know someone who might benefit, please don't hesitate to reach out. We'd love to make Christmas a little brighter and more connected for you!

Who can benefit?
We are keen to support as many RBH customers as possible who currently struggle to get online. In particular, we'd like to help families with children, and customers who are currently out-of-work and are seeking employment. If you are an RBH customer, you may be eligible to receive one of our devices.

Community Support
In addition to direct donations to customers, we have already provided devices to Rochdale Borough Council for loan through their library service. We have also donated devices directly to our Independent Living Schemes to help support some of our older customers. We are also working with the voluntary sector to identify other community needs.

Device Availability
We currently have 25 laptops and 40 smartphones available, with more expected as we continue our device refresh. If we are unable to provide you with a device this time, we'll keep your details and may get in touch when more devices become available.

Maintenance and repairs
These devices are gifts. RBH will not be responsible for any ongoing maintenance, servicing, or repairs of the donated devices.

Eligibility Criteria
- To apply, you must be an RBH customer - a tenant or leaseholder, or a member of the household of a tenant or leaseholder.
- You should be in need of additional digital support - for example, you may need help getting your children online, or need a device to help you to apply for jobs.
Applications are now closed. The first 22 devices were shared with our customers on 18th December.
