I have been a Rochdale tenant for 30 years. I have worked for Rochdale council in sheltered housing and learning disability services. I have extensive experience working for a housing association as an estate manager, where I dealt with void properties, lettings, repairs, and refurbishments. Currently, I am employed by a local authority as a Social Worker working in quality improvement, focusing on 24-hour residential and nursing care. In this role, I support home managers and their staff in enhancing the services they provide to our elderly population. My career has been dedicated to working with individuals over the age of 60, and I am passionate about ensuring they receive the care and respect they deserve in their later years.
I believe that my background in housing and experience as a long-standing tenant will contribute positively to the future of RBH. Additionally, I enjoy creating glass gifts in my spare time.
