Claire is a Chartered Governance Professional with 19 years’ experience as a company secretary and is a Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute. Claire has spent her career advising on governance matters to many different types of organisations including co-ops, limited companies, registered charities, credit unions and regulated businesses including legal and financial services.
As well as corporate governance, Claire has experience in risk management, internal audit, large financial projects, corporate restructuring and compliance.
Claire has been Society Secretary of Co-operatives UK since 2022. A keen co-operator, Claire is also a long-standing volunteer within the credit union movement.
