I have been working in social housing for over 30 years, beginning as a housing officer in a local council. After transitioning into policy and strategy, I became a Director at Stockport Homes when it was established in 2005. In that role, I set up many of the enabling services that I now manage at Rochdale. I joined RBH in October 2023 as the Executive Director of Corporate Services, which includes People, Technology, Data, Communications, Business Improvement, and Governance. The breadth of responsibility keeps me motivated to provide the best services to our colleagues and customers.
Growing up in social housing has made me appreciate the importance of a secure, safe, and warm home. I understand the difference it can make, which is why I chose a career in social housing. It's also the reason I continue to be passionate about the impact it can have.
Outside of work, I have two sons who are nearing adulthood. With more free time now, I have started attending more concerts and enjoying the music of my youth—mostly indie. I support Stockport County and often attend matches with my son.
