The Kirkholt and Smallbridge Age Friendly Project is a joint funded project through Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) and RBH which aims to make these two areas a more Age Friendly place to live.
Projects so far have been installation of street furniture, free wi-fi provision, a new walk and talk group, a weekly cafe group, one pot cooking classes to name a few.
Age Friendly Partnership Boards
The resident led Partnership Boards are where local residents and stakeholders come together to make decisions on how the budget is spent to make the area a happier, safer, more inclusive place to grow older.
Partnership Boards take place every three months, find more information on our events page.
