Job Description

Are you the person we are looking for who can turn data into action?  Here at RBH that is what our Business Intelligence Team do.  We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst to help us do this by preparing data extracts and writing reports which help the society make evidenced based decisions and focus its attention on where improvements will bring the greatest benefit.

This is an exciting time for the Business Intelligence team.  We are about to launch our new BI tool – InPhase – which will make data and insight more accessible to employees across the society.  The Data Analyst will be involved in the future development of this tool which provides a great opportunity for an experienced report writer to gain new skills in the exciting world of Business Intelligence.  Alongside this they will respond to ad hoc requests for reports as well as maintaining our existing suite of reports some of which currently sit in a legacy system, Hummingbird, and need rationalising and consolidating into a new ‘fit for purpose’ suite of reports informed by the needs of the society now and looking forward.  We take a customer centred approach in all we do and you will be expected to liaise with employees across the society to understand these needs and to co design reports with them.

Whilst initially advertised as a 12 month temporary contract, there is a strong possibility that a permanent role in the BI Team will become available in that time.  There has never been a stronger need for Business Intelligence in the social housing sector!  So whether you are looking for a short or long term opportunity with a BI team that is still finding its feet but entering exciting times, this job could be for you.
